Most Repurchased Make Up Products

Due to the fact I have a very large make up collection that is forever growing, often I don't get through products like bronzers, blushers and highlighters because I'm constantly using different products! But other products, like eyebrow gel, mascara, concealers, powders and foundations I get through quickly. I'm constantly trying new products, but these are some of the products I always repurchase and that just shows how good they are! I am going to be uploading another blog post in the near future for all of my most repurchased skincare products. I asked on a poll on Facebook what blog post everyone would like to see next and this post had the most votes so here it is..

L'Oreal Paris Lash Paradise Mascara - £11.99
- This is a relatively new release but I immediately fell in love with this mascara and it quickly became my new favourite. It gives relatively natural looking volume and length (when I say natural, I mean it gives a kind of whispy effect instead of being spikey) and it doesn't give any fall out or transfer throughout the day. Lots of people have said that this is a dupe for the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - I do own that mascara and I do agree that they are very similar but I actually prefer the L'Oreal one. It's a slightly drier formula which I find is most buildable. In general, I love L'Oreal mascaras as they tend to give me exactly what I want from a mascara and they are usually very black - this one is no exception and definitely my favourite. The only down side to this mascara is that the tube doesn't last very long. I've been using this most days and it dries out within about 5-6 weeks and I need to repurchase, but I am happy to continue to do so!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation For Oily / Combination Skin - £12.99
- I feel like everyone and their mother has tried this foundation as it's been out for years and is such a great product. This is one of my holy grail foundations that I've probably repurchased around 15-20 times! I have oily / combination skin and this easily lasts all day on my skin (it's my longest lasting foundation), doesn't go oily throughout the day and is completely transfer proof when set with a powder (I test this by hugging my dogs and seeing whether they end up with orange stains!). This foundation gives good coverage and the palest shade is a good colour for me - it's not quite pale enough for my ghost skin so I do have to mix it with a white mixer but it's still a great foundation in my opinion. They did change the formula slightly and they added a pump to the bottle about a year ago which just improved it even more to me. I use the shades 110 Ivory and 150 Buff - Ivory is much more pink toned and Buff is much more yellow toned but they are about the same pale-ness! Both of these shades do oxidise on my skin.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - £4.19
- This is a holy grail concealer for a lot of people and for good reason! I've repurchased this around 8-10 times and recently it got even better to me - they brought out a paler shade, although the previous palest shade wasn't terrible, the new shade works even better on my skin. This concealer has great coverage, blends out easily and doesn't crease or slip around on my skin or take away any coverage from my foundation. I use it under my eyes and on blemishes and it works brilliantly for both. It has a doe-foot applicator and the tube lasts a good amount of time. If you haven't tried this foundation, I would definitely recommend going out and grabbing it because for £4.19 you can't go wrong! You get 6.5ml of product in the tube.

L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Powder - £8.99
- I'm quite fussy with face powders because I prefer pressed powders that are pigmented and add coverage instead of taking it away and I need it to help keep my oils at bay on my t-zone throughout the day. This is one of my absolute favourite powders because it's a great pale shade and it's a creamy kind of powder that adds coverage and doesn't make my skin look cakey or powdery. It keeps me matte for most of the day. The compact is sturdy and also contains a mirror. Overall, I'm a big fan of this powder, have already repurchased it numerous times and would definitely recommend it. You get 9g of product in the compact, which is a lot for a standard pressed powder. I think

Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser Primer - £9.00
- This is one of my absolute holy grail primers. It contains tea tree oil, which is great for skin that is blemish-prone (like mine) so I feel like it's helping my skin whilst priming for make up. This primer feels refreshing on your skin and sinks in quickly, leaving it slightly tacky to adhere to your foundation. It isn't a silicone based primer, it's more of a gel / cream consistency, which I love. I've tried this primer with most foundations and it seems to work with them all - it does definitely blur my pores and makes my foundation apply flawlessly, without causing separation or patchiness like some primers I've tried. I've got oil / combination skin and I do think this primer makes my make up stay on for longer and keeps some of my oils at bay, although it doesn't claim to do that. Body Shop regularly have deals on, like 3 for 2 on skincare or 40% off so I usually repurchase this primer for £5.40 (40% off) which is a bargain for such a great product!

Seventeen Dolled Up Mascara - £6.99
picked up two. I've already stocked up on this concealer in preparation for the discontinuation!Although Seventeen is being discontinued between now and August, I do think the CYO (it's replacement) is matching most of the mascaras so chances are, you will still be able to purchase a similar product, and this mascara is still available online and in most stores just now. This mascara is my absolute favourite for natural make up days and for my bottom lashes. The wand has a plastic curved applicator, which is great for giving a curl to your lashes and this really lengthens them. I agree with the 'dolled up' name because it does give you doll-like lashes. It doesn't add much volume, hence I use it on my lower lash line but it also doesn't go clumpy. I've found that this doesn't dry out quickly and one tube lasts me a long time, so for £6.99, you can't go wrong! This doesn't transfer onto my under-eyes and the curl and length lasts all day. Seventeen is also often on offer - at one point, it was 2 for £8, which means you're paying £4 each for a mascara if you

Rimmel London Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel - £4.49
- I've mentioned this before, but for those of you who don't know, I have naturally blonde hair, which means I have blonde eyebrows, but I dye my hair black, so everyday, I need to colour in my eyebrows effectively. I've found that eyebrow gel is the quickest and easiest way to do this for everyday make up (I use a pomade and clear brow gel if I'm going on a night out or to an event). This brow gel is great, because it's pigmented and the brush is small enough to not go outside the lines of my eyebrows, but it's not so small that it takes an hour to fill them in. I find that this eyebrow gel looks pretty natural - most people can't believe that my eyebrows are normally blonde. This is one of the products I repurchase the most because I've tried a lot of eyebrow gels and most of them have not lived up to the quality of this one. It comes in 4 shades - I have 'dark brown' and 'clear', but it also comes in 'blonde' and 'medium brown'.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer - £19.50
- You may have noticed that this is the only high-end product in this blog post. There are two reasons for that - firstly, I am very fussy with high-end make up, I won't spend a large amount of money on a make up product unless it is 100% worth it. If I can get an affordable dupe, I will always buy it over a high-end product. Secondly, I only tend to use high-end make up for going on nights out or for events, not for everyday use, so it takes me longer to get through high-end make up and therefore, there isn't always the need to repurchase. So that shows how good this concealer is. The shade 'fair neutral' is great for pale skin, it is full coverage, doesn't crease and doesn't separate on top of concealer. The wand is a long, flat applicator which picks up a lot of product, so you don't have to keep dipping back into the tube. This is one of my all time favourite concealers and I used it so often, I have had to repurchase it a few times and I will continue to do so because I definitely think it is worth it. You get 5ml of product in this concealer.

Maybelline Eye Studio Master Smokey Eyeliner (Smokey Black) - £5.99
- Another make up product I am very fussy with is eyeliner. I like a jet black, pigmented eyeliner that will last in my waterline all day and not smudge under my eyes. This eyeliner definitely meets that criteria. It is pigmented, very black and it lasts all day in my water line. The formula is very creamy, so it's easy to apply and the pencil is quite chunky, which I like. This is my go-to everyday eyeliner so I've got through about 5 of these since I started using it and I will continue to repurchase it! It smudges out nicely if I apply it to my waterline and then blend eyeshadow underneath - it does come with a smudging sponge on the other end of the pencil but I don't tend to use that. This is a fantastic eyeliner for the price.

Stargazer White Pressed Powder - £3.99
- I've mentioned this before in a pale skin blog post and this product will only really be suitable for you if you have super pale skin like myself. If you're pale like me, you will know that concealers often are not light enough to match our skin tone, let alone highlight or brighten our under-eyes. This is where this powder comes in. I use this every day to brighten my under-eye concealer and set my under-eyes, as it is pure white. The powder itself does give some fall out and is quite powdery (couldn't think of a better word to describe it!) but it gives a smooth finish on top of my concealer. I do also use this to lighten my bronzer / blusher if I go a bit crazy with it or if the product is too dark / pigmented on my skin - it works really well to do that too. The compact is sturdy and also has a mirror. I've repurchased this numerous times, mainly because I've yet to find a similar product from any other brand. You can find this product on eBay or Amazon and you get 6g of product in the compact.
