I was walking around Boots yesterday and I noticed a new stand containing 'Maui Moisture' hair products - a brand I had not heard of before but the bright colours caught my eye! All of the products retail for £8.99 so they are not a super affordable brand but they are also not a high end brand. Boots are now stocking 5 varieties of Maui Moisture products:   - Thicken & Restore (Bamboo Fibre)  - Curl Quench (Coconut Oil)   - Strength & Anti-Breakage (Agave)   - Revive & Hydrate (Shea Butter)   - Nourish & Moisture (Coconut Milk)  In each of these varieties, there are 3 products (excluding Curl Quench which has 4 products) available. To be honest, I was interested in all of the varieties, but I smelt them all and the Nourish & Moisture (Coconut Milk) products smelt AMAZING so I had to pick them up. If you haven't heard of the brand Essence, it is a very affordable brand which seems quite popular in the U.S. but is only available in Wilko stores in the UK. Everything I have bought to try out was £3 or under and I checked the reviews first on Wilko's website and a few of the products I have bought were based on their 5 star reviews online! Instant Matt Setting Spray - £3.00 This setting spray has quite a strong chemically scent when you first spray it but the scent goes straight away. It has a really nice mist which covers your whole face, unlike a lot of setting sprays that I have tried before. It is advertised as a non-sticky, lightweight, oil-free formula, which I agree with. It makes your face feel matte as soon as it dries and I think it kept my make up in place for longer without my skin getting oily. Having oily / combination skin can be a nightmare situation which can ruin your make up and can get much worse in the summer as the weather starts to get warmer (well, it doesn't tend to do that in Scotland..). I have combination skin, which is normal on my cheeks and most of my forehead but gets oily on my t-zone and chin throughout the day. Although there are no rules to make up, if you're a beginner or simply just wanting to know what make up to buy next, this guide will help you determine which eyeshadow shades you should be sticking to if you want to enhance your eye colour. This is just based on my personal opinion and research from make up artists and experts - if you want to experiment with bright colours, you do that! Do whatever makes you happy! If you haven't heard of 'The Ordinary', they are a very affordable brand who are part of the company Deciem and are known predominantly for their innovative skincare products and more recently, their primers. A few weeks ago, The Ordinary launched two new foundations - a serum foundation (£5.70) and a coverage foundation (£5.90) and these foundations are both available in 21 different shades. The shades are split into pink undertones, yellow undertones, red undertones and neutral undertones and also has variations with silver and golden highlights.
