What Does £100 Worth of Make-Up Look Like?
Do you ever go crazy on a shopping spree and spend a fortune on make up, then look at it and think "that's not a lot of stuff for the amount of money I spent"? This has happened to me so many times. I know that usually, with drugstore make up specifically, there are usually offers on for 3 for 2 or Buy One Get One Half Price, which might save you a bit of money, or you end up buying something you don't really need or want just to get the deal. Anyway, this led me to wonder, what does £100 worth of make up look like?
So if you are a fan of high end make up, you will know that you really don't get a lot for £100. With some high end brands like Marc Jacobs, a eye shadow palette alone can set you back £76.00. If you aren't obsessed with make-up, this might seem ridiculous to you! But often, there is no drugstore equivalent that even comes close to the high end version - like the Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation. This is £100 worth of very affordable make up (all items £5 or less). There are 34 individual items here which total £99.84 (sorry, don't think you can buy any make up for 16p! (if only...) These items are available in Superdrug, Boots, Wilko or on eBay (depending on different brands).

So the moral of this story! If you are wanting to expand your make up collection, my suggestion would be to incorporate a mixture of all 3 of these groups. Some more affordable make up for everyday use and some more expensive make up (if you can) and save that for special occasions or nights out.
